"Pro-Russian views"

[edit]

The information about Karbauskas allegedly holding "pro-Russian views" needs to be supported by reliable, third-party sources. Currently, there is only one link to a Lithuanian publication - whose text, moreover, is available strictly on a subscription basis. Please be reminded that it may very well be "common knowledge," in Lithuania or elsewhere, that Karbauskas is "pro-Russian" but that is not an acceptable basis for Wikipedia information. Cheers. -The Gnome (talk) 12:54, 24 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

User:79.132.171.84 added the following bit of text about the alleged Russian connection : "This however raises some concerns among Lithuanian officials due the fact Karbauskis might have connections with Russian government." Yet, the link that was provided to support the claim does not even mention "Russia". Another link, to a Lithuanian-text source, quotes politicians' claims ("The main reason is that [Karbauska] party is big and we are small," etc) and not "secret service reports" about Karbauska's alleged pro-Russian ideology. All that text too, therefore, is taken down. We await some reliable sources truly supporting the allegation. Cheers. -The Gnome (talk) 09:58, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
