Hi! I will post my comments soon. Sainsf (talk · contribs) 18:37, 20 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Here are my comments. Well-written and interesting read. Cheers, Sainsf (talk · contribs) 17:08, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • No copyvio concerns [1]. No dablinks, duplinks or problematic external links detected.
  • Sourcing looks decent and most citations are well-formatted. A few concerns:
  • Ref 7 needs more details
 Done - removed source [2] --Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:40, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Ref 10 needs better formatting like other book citations
 Done --Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:40, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • How reliable is this source? [3]
 Done - removed source [4] --Doug Coldwell (talk) 18:40, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Comments on prose and coverage
  • The lead should be expanded by at least another short paragraph to illustrate the major events in his life.

  • It is up to you but I wonder if those tiny sections at the end can be combined into one or two bigger sections or earlier sections. Family itself does not have too much material that would look bad if directly included in the timeline, and a part of it does appear in the previous section. Especially when the wife is mentioned twice already before she is formally introduced in Family. Later life and Death would in particular look good if merged.

  • Any idea about the background of his parents?
Done - not at this time. Maybe later when libraries reopen. Then I can get books. --Doug Coldwell (talk) 20:29, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • A few common terms like vegetarian and lumberjack are linked
 Done --Doug Coldwell (talk) 19:38, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Any link or a short description for the Word of Faith Movement?
 Done --Doug Coldwell (talk) 20:26, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Trine's book "What All the World's A-Seeking" Italics (a few more instances in the same para)
 Done --Doug Coldwell (talk) 19:43, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Are refs. 8 and 35 sources for all the points listed in Published works? What about ref 2 for some points? The bullets should not appear unsourced.

@Sainsf: - addressed all issues. Can you take a look at it. Thanks. --Doug Coldwell (talk) 20:32, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Great job! I have made a few minor edits. Ready for promotion :) Sainsf (talk · contribs) 20:39, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Question.. where exactly do I enlist this article on Wikipedia:Good articles/Social sciences and society? Not sure of the subcategory. I think he suits more in Wikipedia:Good articles/Philosophy and religion#Philosophy. Sainsf (talk · contribs) 20:46, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

yes = Wikipedia:Good articles/Philosophy and religion --Doug Coldwell (talk) 20:52, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
