POV
[edit]This article was clearly written by someone with an axe to grind. It used (and still does, after I got rid of some of the worst examples) language chosen to persuade readers that this person was ridiculous, and seemed to poke fun of claims that were written in a way that suggested they were insane but have actually been overwhelmingly supported by scientific studies (how interview questions can lead people, especially children, to give answers that are wanted instead of being accurate, etc.). It even went so far as to call a case where people were exonerated of all accusations made against them a case of child abuse and suggested that the organization was formed to defend people the worded suggested were guilty even if law concluded they weren't. Some of the sources selected are very strongly biased, and a more thorough representation of reliable sources should be used.
We've had many problems with related articles, such as satanic ritual abuse and False Memory Syndrome Foundation. Hopefully some of the people who brought those articles back to WIkipedia standards will work on this one also. DreamGuy (talk) 21:33, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
- As usual, the POV-pusher will start out claiming any party with an opposing interpretation of an event or situation is the POV-pusher. At least this article isn't in nearly as bad shape as some others. Daniel Santos (talk) 09:34, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
