For the record, and for the sake of the GFDL, the original text of the article was not written by User:69.118.109.6. Although that anonymous user did post an article about Shaa on WP:AFC, I wrote the current article from scratch.

For the sake of comparison, here is the version posted by the anonymous user:

Edward V was planned to crowned king of England during the War of the Roses ater his father Edward IV died. On the day of the coronation, the mayor’s brother Dr Ralph Shaa revealed to the people of London that Edward IV’s marriage to Edward V’s mother was not legitimate because Edward IV had already signed a pre-marital contact with another women. This made Edward V and his brother illegitimate heirs. Four days later, Richard was crowned king. There has been much controversy over his actions and if it was one lucky coincidence or a brilliant scandal6.

I accept that Meegs meant well with that edit summary about who created the material, but it's incorrect. DS 15:16, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely correct. People use material from AfC without attribution all the time, but this article is obviously completely original. Sorry about that, DS. ×Meegs 18:33, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
