Surname Spelling and Serious Omission

[edit]

The spelling of this college president's surname should be Hutchison and the article omits the fact that he was president of Lafayette College 1945-1957.

Help! I attempted to fix the surname spelling problem, but was unable to correct the second citation error. Can a more experienced editor help? DThomsen8 (talk) 01:54, 17 March 2009 (UTC)Dthomsen8[reply]
The Lafayette College section is embarrassingly empty. Bellagio99 (talk)
Yup. I'm piecing through all Lafayette College-related biographies on Wikipedia and tackling school presidents as fast as I find the time to do it. Most figures up until 1928 are sorted through by now. Hutchison features predominantly in Gendebien's biography which I have yet to get through. I'll probably read it this spring or summer and at that point will be able to add more to this article. Perhaps later this week I'll take a look through only his sections of the book and try to add information where I see fit. SEMMENDINGER (talk) 16:22, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Gendebien was one of my profs at about the time he wrote (or had written) the book. He was a sober, serious scholar.Bellagio99 (talk) 23:32, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Neat to hear. Didn't realize you were also a Laf alumn, so it's nice to run into you! SEMMENDINGER (talk) 02:07, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
