Note on article source

[edit]

The copy of this article comes from [1]. However, a tag on this webpage states, ""I, Ralph Begleiter, am the author of this article, "Begleiter bio," and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." This means the content is not a copyright violation. --Alabamaboy 12:20, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

N.B. As noted in the edit history, the website now has a GFDL license posted on it, so copying the text here is no longer a copyright violation by Wikipedia's standards. Now it's just boring. The article ought to be rewritten according to Wikipedia guidelines (which are similar to those for good journalism). Maybe the task will soon interest someone besides the subject. I'll do it eventually if no one else does. -- Rob C. alias Alarob 23:06, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

N.B., the copyright issue is less a problem than the Wikifying issue. If someone besides the subject wants to tackle a real Wikipedia article, bravo, but this isn't the place for P.R. puffing.72.240.81.39 (talk) 04:10, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
