I am a student at the University of Akron, and most of this information is produced from Dr. Aggarwal's biography and information obtained by the University. The Dean did not have a page on Wikipedia, so I created this.

Good thing I didn't label it as an autobiography then :) Still, as a student you could still have a conflict of interest. To paraphrase the late Professor Tolkien, deans are subtle and quick to anger. Favonian (talk) 20:39, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest/sockpuppetry

[edit]

The neutrality of this article seems highly questionable. The originator is a self-proclaimed student at the subject's institution, but apparently was unaware of the subject's rather humiliating removal from the position of Dean long before the article was posted. Whilst one editor has done a good job in removing some of the "feathers from the peacock", two other editors seems to exist purely for the promotion of the subject within Wikipedia. This smacks of sockpuppetry. I have put a conflict of interest template into the article and filed a conflict of interest report on WP:COIN.24.29.231.139 (talk) 07:17, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for posting this. If you see things in this article that are false or misleading, please alter them. I just wanted some brief information up about this person and their research. The idea behind posting much of his research in the studies of finance was to allow people to be able to find the research and also to assist them with searching for many papers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Raggarwal uakron (talkcontribs) 13:58, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removal as Dean

[edit]

The Crain's source says the University didn't give a reason for seeking a new Dean, and in particular doesn't say the removal was involuntary. So I think suggesting this in the lead is not appropriate. Rees11 (talk) 15:47, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
