Writer of 'Holding on to You'

[edit]

Originally the article listed Bill Martin as the writer of the track 'Holding on to You'. However, this isn't correct. The writer here is another musician called Bill Martin who served as a staff writer for the American publishers Red Stripe Music and Paramint Melodies, the publishers of this particular song who Bill Martin has no association with. Furthermore, the BMI Database shows that Bill Martin is affiliated with PRS whereas this Bill Martin is affiliated with BMI, which would also indicate they're separate people.

The song was also performed by Amy Holland on her first studio album - this Bill Martin is listed as having cowritten a song with her called 'Firefighting', which is listed in both the United States Copyright Office and the BMI Database (registration number PAu000230074 / BMI Work # 419066 respectively). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.45.255.101 (talk) 18:24, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
