Proposal to incorporate this material in the "Track (rail transport)" article
[edit]There is an article at https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Track_(rail_transport) which is much more developed than this one. The material here would fit very well as sections there. I have no experience or even knowledge of how this should properly be done, so I leave further work on this to those who do.

- Template added. It does seem reasonable to merge into the Rail and Joining Rails sections. Any opposition? --MagteiContrib 03:17, 27 December 2017 (UTC)
- Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 17:51, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
