Raelene Castle has fast become famous for bringing the game of Rubgy into disrepute through her support for vilification of individuals for their religious views. The game of Rubgy has been an inclusive game welcoming of all religious and irreligious views. Raelene however is abusing her role at Rubgy Australia to promote her personal views with the loud support of a small but well organized group of the same old social media trolls that dog sporting events. You mean Allan Joyce/Qantas blackmail for advertising dollars to promote their pro-gay political agenda? I think the ABC has also covered this in detail. Very poorly sourced article that needs improvement! 180.219.160.62 (talk) 10:58, 23 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Like the Drew Mitchell page many people didn’t know who these figures were until the Israel falou saga. For instance after arguing to divert “significant resources” to fight Israel Falou despite almost going “bankrupt”, Raelene Castle has now said “From our perspective (Go Fund Me) is a place where sick children get support, so it's certainly not a strategy we think is appropriate“ about Israe Falou using the platform to raise (now over $600k) money for his legal defence for religious freedom. Somewhat ridiculous on other hand to talk about medals that Raelene Castle has won. Wikipedia is not a promotional page for PR experts! 180.219.160.62 (talk) 10:57, 23 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
This article seems quite imbalanced. For instance this publication in Fox Sports you wouldn’t expect any of this given the current slant of this article. It needs to be kept up to date with the gaffes however unpleasant Raelene has committed. Time to pay up! https://apple.news/Ac5TtUNIPTeir11JjpqP0Xg49.182.46.97 (talk) 13:26, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
There has been underlying doubt since she came to the post and since then she has overseen one disaster after another.
For the sake of Rugby Union at all levels I think it is time that she was replaced with a person with a grounding in the sport! Haydn2415 (talk) 13:34, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
