New article 'Long Way' series
[edit]Opinions welcomed on Talk:'Long Way' series whether this new article is valid/makes sense, thanks -- John (Daytona2 · talk · contribs) 13:45, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Link to the store deleted
[edit]I have deleted the link to the official store under WP:EL's guidelines for links to be avoided #5: "Links to sites that primarily exist to sell products or services."
Additionally, the store can be reached with one click from the main page, so it's not like the store was hidden or anything.
The link was readded with the edit summary "Due to massive amounts of illegal downloads of RTD from Bittorrent there is nothing inappropriate about letting people know there is a Legal (and DRM Free) download alternative available". The better way to convey that information is through a sentence or two in the body of the article stating that it is available for sale, rather than just adding a link to the store with no further explanation. —C.Fred (talk) 04:22, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- I agree - done. -- John (Daytona2 · Talk · Contribs) 18:01, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- That looks like a good compromise. Nice job. --Cheesy Mike (talk) 18:06, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Bike image description is wrong
[edit]The motorcycle pictured was ridden by Matt Hall. It can be identified by the green front fender. Charley's bike had a 'Valentino Rossi Yellow' front fender. I will change the description unless anyone objects. — Preceding unsigned comment added by BrentRockwood (talk • contribs) 12:21, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
