[edit]Someone needs to create an article for RMS Aquaculture. --Hemto 06:24, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- RMS Aquaculture has been speedy deleted for reasons that can be found at User_talk:Ginkgo100/Archive03#RMS_Aquaculture. John Vandenberg 07:24, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- I think the article was good enough to keep. At its height, the company had a green house, a store in Middleburg Heights, stores at two locations in Parma, one in Willoughby, one in Strongsville, an online service a la Amazon.com but just focused on pet sales, negotiations for a fish farm in Mexico, etc. It's been around for over a decade as well. If the purpose of Wikipedia is to be like an encyclopedia and catalog human knowledge, than we shouldn't be delete happy. --Hemto 15:45, 30 October 2006 (UTC)--Hemto 15:45, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
- I agree with you, however the article has been removed by consensus and is unlikely to be recreated without suffering the same fate. If you have a copy of the article, I suggest you save it at User:Hemto/RMS Aquaculture and expand it to address the concerns mentioned in the AfD. John Vandenberg 18:07, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not sure that it's totally unlikely that an article on RMS Aquaculture won't be warranted in the future, assuming the place doesn't go out of business. I mean, we can see if it expands any further, or what not, but it hasn't exactly gone under yet, at various times in its history had stores at roughly six different locations, owns some building in Middleburg Heights, included either a fish farm in Mexico or plans for one (not sure whatever happened with that project), an online store that shipped at least nationally, recipe books with recipes contributed by employees, was featured in some Cleveland area TV news stories, fought against some lawsuits, etc. So, it's too early to assume that it won't be article worthy somewhere along the way.
