Merger proposal
[edit]@Dl2000, Formeruser-81, Bearcat, and Cmr08: I propose to merge Joseph Bujold into Rémi Bujold. It seems they duplicate each other. (Generated using markasduplicate.js.) --Matěj Suchánek (talk) 09:41, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
- You are absolutely correct! MauriceYMichaud (talk) 13:07, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
- You're correct that they're the same person; undoubtedly somebody failed to understand how Joseph-Secondname-Thirdname works as the given name of a person from Quebec, and thought that meant "Joseph Bujold" and "Rémi Bujold" were different people. But since there's no real question about this (Joseph and Rémi even both represented the same electoral district at the same time!), there's no need to discuss this for seven days — I've just gone ahead and redirected Joseph to Rémi already on WP:SNOWBALL grounds. Thanks for the catch! (I work mostly on films these days, and would never have come across this on my own.) Bearcat (talk) 13:43, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
