The name
[edit]I've never heard the term Irish Tour - Rás used in reference to this event. Originally it was Rás Tailteann, then commercial sponsors took over and changed it to Sponsor sponsor sponsor Rás. However, since sponsors come and go, the race is now commonly known as simply The Rás. Shouldn't this article's name reflect that reality, and change to either Rás or The Rás? - I think this page should be called The Rás Tailteann because thats its real name, The Ras is what it is referred to as in Ireland,so there should be a redirect from The Ras to The Rás Tailteann, but Irish Tour Ras is not the name, just a working name. --Dawesaudax 19:49, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
"Russian" winners
[edit]The winners in 1973, 1977, and 1989 are described as being from (or representing) Russia. Should that not be the Soviet Union? Rwxrwxrwx 10:43, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
- That has been corrected. 83.71.45.28 09:44, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
