List of events

[edit]

Is there any point in listing all the various events, when most were insignificant local affairs with no notability at all. Wouldn't it be better to write about those that were significant and why? NealeFamily (talk) 21:11, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

ThanX for telling the story of William Lints. I suspected that there was a personality driving the events, but did not know the back ground. Did William ever get Knighted?

re: "list of events", I'm inclined to keep them, not just because I kicked off the list, but because:

  • As a list it is own right is notable, (but maybe not yet notable enough to have just a "list of Queen Carnivals" in it own right)
  • There seems to be some kind of franchise in operation that has not been explained, the list provides the clews.

However with the telling the story of William the pages is vastly improved, and the list is not as necessary any more. Your call.
