Kling

[edit]

Isn't "Kling" just an proposed, but unused, name for Qo'noS by the production team? --Menchi 22:48 27 Jul 2003 (UTC)

That's what I have always heard...that was the original name, but then they thought it sounded pretty stupid :) So fans tend to reinterpret it as the name of the capital, or some territory on the planet. Or they just forget about it altogether... Adam Bishop 22:54 27 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Move

[edit]

Are there so many Qo'noSes that this needs to be disambiguated? RickK 22:56 27 Jul 2003 (UTC)

No. Not that I know. --Menchi 23:11 27 Jul 2003 (UTC)
Moved by Montréalais from Qo'noS (Star Trek) to Qo'noS. --Menchi 03:07, 3 Sep 2003 (UTC)

Seasons

[edit]

"Qo'noS suffered severe ecological damage with the destruction of its moon, Praxis, in 2293. This resulted in a much warmer climate. (The capitol city is shown to be snow-covered during the Enterprise era c. 2151, but is rather warm in the TNG era.) "

Couldn't this simply mean that Enterprise visited it in winter? Ausir 00:20, 25 Feb 2004 (UTC)

There was a hologram of a beautiful snowless brown-hued Chronos in the Trip-pregnant episode. --Menchi 07:46, 25 Feb 2004 (UTC)
It just supports the winter version, then. I'll remove that part. Ausir 10:24, 25 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Did Praxis totally explode or did it simply suffer immense damage? The entry on the list of star trek planets gives a different statement than the one on this page. Citizen Premier 04:22, 7 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Praxis was not entirely destroyed. It still remains in its half a planet state, it is now mainly used as a prison station as noted in the FPS game Star Trek: Klingon Honour Guard. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Turbinator (talkcontribs) 21:22, 5 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Kron.jpg

[edit]

Image:Kron.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:13, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
