Lv

[edit]

"It also has a well-known fish port named Lv Si town -- meaning Mr. Lv Dong Bing, a legendary figure, had visited the place for four times."

What is this supposed to mean ? Since when is "Lv" a chinese name ?Eregli bob (talk) 07:23, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Lv is a stand-in for Lü when the umlaut is not available. TLA 3x ♭ 04:48, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

rapes?

[edit]

not grapes? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.108.121.93 (talk) 17:20, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly rape was intended. Qidong's not really big on viniculture. — LlywelynII 01:42, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Entertainment

[edit]

I removed the Mcdo and KFC from the entertainment section for obvious reasons.

It is clear that Qidong is part of the Nantong county but this is not a reason to cite Nantong bars inside the Qidong page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cobra060 (talkcontribs) 04:40, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

East China Sea, not Yellow Sea

[edit]

It's worth noting if the Chinese consider the Yellow Sea to be everything north of the mouth of Yangtze but the actual international designations place everything south of Dongtai in the East China Sea. — LlywelynII 01:57, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
