Taxonomy
[edit]There seems to be a conflict between the statement "P. lilacinus was classified with the Fungi Imperfecti or Deuteromycetes," and the Taxobox phylum "Ascomycota". This fungus cannot be classified in both of these ways. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cwmhiraeth (talk • contribs) 06:40, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
- Well, it was classified with the Fungi Imperfecti, but is now classified with the Ascomycota ... depending on which authority you believe. I agree it's vague. Note that Index Fungorum has it as an Ascomycota, while MycoBank says it's an anamorph. I'll have to do some research to figure out the best way to present its classification for Wikipedia... it's not really my field of interest. You're welcome to update it yourself of course :) Sasata (talk) 15:32, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
Species Page
[edit]I have moved specific content (together with the header above) from the genus page - with minimal edits so far. Roy Bateman (talk) 09:39, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
