"There is, however, a consensus in the literature that purple acid phosphatase (PAP) relates to those found in non-mammalian species and tartrate resistant acid phosphatase (TRAP) to those found in mammalian species"
-Is there some references to this? In at least two articles I have read lately that I can remember the names of, PAP is used in this type of enzyme for both mammalian and plant acid phosphatases. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.237.61.169 (talk) 15:07, 9 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
