Sammy Hagar also has a hard-rockin’cover version. [available on Apple Music] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.8.150.129 (talk) 06:34, 20 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think this article should mention the song Voodoo Child which sampled Pump It Up, but I'm not sure about the best way to add that information. Suggestions? -- 109.76.152.98 (talk) 13:15, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm. More than just "a sample", I'd say. Haha. You could start a "Sampling" section. The use of the riff is obvious, but I see there is currently no supporting source at Voodoo Child. Martinevans123 (talk) 13:45, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@109.76.152.98 A reference has been added. Beatleswhobeachboys (talk) 19:50, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I understand this wasn't a sample and the riff was rerecorded for the RT song. They added Costello to the writing credits once the recording started to get noticed. --Ef80 (talk) 17:54, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

So I found a podcast talking about the song saying that it was "power pop", should I use that as a source? Iamthegoat524 (talk) 23:54, 2 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
