[edit]Kamal3424 17:54, 10 October 2007 (UTC)The Pulihora prepared in Andhra Pradesh is the same as the Chitranna that is prepared in Karnataka and the Puliyogare is a completly different in all aspects like taste, preparation, color and also in pulihora Lemon is added whereas in Puliyogare Tamarind juice or Gojju is the main ingredient
- Support
Based solely on the descriptions in the articles, including listing puliyogare as a variant name for pulihora in that article, they sound very similar, if not identical. If they are significantly different, perhaps the articles could be edited further to explain the differences and/or similarities, including reference/cites. As they are both written now, I support the merger. Geoff (talk) 02:23, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- Neutral
I've no opinion about which is the more appropriate name to merge this with Pulihora - but most variants seem to have 5 syllables so perhaps this one would be the most recognisable? FlagSteward 13:45, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose
Perhaps putting a "(Chittranna)" next to Puliohara would solve the problem. They are completely different and i dont think they should be merged at any point of time. 09:00, 24 October 2007 (UTC)Diyaraghavan
They are two different dishes how can you merge them? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.240.243.170 (talk) 22:18, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- OPPOSE: Pulihora and Puliyogare are different dishes although the names sound similar. The way Pulihora is made in Andhra households is very unique.Kumarrao (talk) 12:23, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Oppose: The both dish are completely different, Ingredients used are not unique( In Puliyora Lemon is added, In Puliyogare Tamarind is added) andhra taste and karnataka tastes are not similar. C21Ktalk 00:33, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
