I am a 46 year old born and bred Australian. When I was a boy my grandmother used to make puftaloons. She called them "puftaloonies". For some reason that memory came into my head so I looked them up on the net and what do know? There's a Wikipedea article on them! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.167.157.158 (talk) 12:27, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
30 year old Australian, and I have never heard of a puftaloon. I have lived in WA, SA, NSW and QLD, and have never heard this term used. Perhaps the article could be edited to state that this term is no longer commonly heard. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 14.2.22.43 (talk) 08:51, 1 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
