Dispute over bridges

[edit]

The Ayala Bridge is also described as designed by Gustave Eiffel in online, uncited material. Unlikely that they would both be, especially as Quezon has a documented Basque designer originally. I'm deleting the assertion here, as Eiffel died in 1923 before the bridge was reworked. Parkwells (talk) 22:23, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Matías Menchacatorre

[edit]

Hello! I have been searching and Matías Menchacatorre seems a typo of the Company Matía, Menchacatorre y Cía. That Menchacatorre would be Claudio Menchacatorre Ajeo (there is another typo there: birth register). If the building company was Ynchausti y Cía. and some works were made by the transport company Matía, Menchacatorre y Cía, the engineering authorship remains unknown. The fact is that there is no registry of any engineer named Matías Menchacatorre (and they where a wealthy family, with a well know genealogy. -Theklan (talk) 17:51, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
