Reference to Practical Plants

[edit]

Hi, I saw from our logs there's a citation to Practical Plants on this page. I just thought I'd give you a heads-up that Practical Plants is a wiki. I'm not a Wikipedia contributor so I don't know if a wiki is a valid citation source or not, but I should note that I've seen citations to Wikipedia on Practical Plants, so there's a possibility for circular references! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrujhon (talkcontribs) 10:08, 25 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Good catch. Citing another Wiki is a poor practice. Practical Plants looks like a pretty good Wiki itself, as it shows citations for the statement. Unfortunately, I don't have ready access to the cited sources to confirm. Taking out the statement citing Practical Plants (which is little more than trivia).
