I have removed the following content here for discussion because it does not appear to be supported by the cited reference: "The сompany Novion found that the anabolic effects protodioscine significantly enhanced in the presence of ecdysterone. The mechanism of this phenomenon is associated with stimulation of the synthesis of endogenous testosterone and displacement of ecdysterone endogenous testosterone from a place of its binding to a protein SGBH. This protein reduces the effects of testosterone. Thus increased activity stimulated protodioscine testosterone, which could have important applications in sports.<ref>{{|cite journal | doi = 10.1016/j.bmc.2009.07.011 | author = Harada T, Nakagawa Y, Akamatsu M, Miyagawa H | title = Evaluation of hydrogen bonds of ecdysteroids in the ligand-receptor interactions using a protein modeling system | journal = Bioorg Med Chem | year = 2009 | volume = 17 | issue = 16 | pages = 5868 | pmid = 19631551}}</ref>" -- Ed (Edgar181) 13:02, 7 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
