This page vs Tea Party protests page
[edit]Tea Party protests covers *only* Tea Party protests, which almost exclusively happened 2008-2010. I do believe there have been many protests against Obama not done by Tea Party (less protests than Bush or Trump though). Ethanbas (talk) 18:41, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
2008
[edit]I strongly doubt this claim of a protest against a then-possible future Obama presidency:
- On the steps of the White House;
- Months before Obama was selected as Democrat nominee, almost ten months before Obama was elected, and over a year before he was sworn in.
I searched and could not find any report of this event. Cite or remove. Jack N. Stock (talk) 08:30, 4 February 2017 (UTC)
Protesting President Obama??
[edit]It seems that this page has lumped anything they could into an "anti-Obama" type of thing, even using protests that did not occur (2012, Donald Trump). People protesting for lower taxes isn't specifically "anti-Obama", nor were the anti-Libyan incursion protests or the ACA protests. Those all happened to be about things that were not Obama. I concur with sentiment that this page be deleted as it seems to be original work. TopherGo (talk) 16:56, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
