Chocolate coins
[edit]On the PASE website under "goodies" there are a list of posters, carrier bags, mousemats and chocolates bearing their logo. However only the chocolate coins are seen as being especially notable enough to warrant a rather fetching photograph of the said coins. And if that is good enough for PASE its good enough for me.The question is are there any othe racademic bodies that issue chocolate coinage? I once bought a chocolate triceratops from the London Natural History Museum. -Streona —Preceding unsigned comment added by Streona (talk • contribs) 10:47, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- I regret to say that this information now appears to be out of date. There no longer seems to be a "goodies" section on the PASE website. GrindtXX (talk) 21:55, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
Template
[edit]I have created a new template, Template:PASE, for making links to the PASE website.
The basic syntax is, for example:
* {{PASE|13909|Æthelstan 18}}
which generates
Other options include cw=1
, which gives output formatted via {{citeweb}}, as
which may fit better into some reference lists; or bare=1
, which just generates the bare link [1], which can then be marked up as desired.
The option accessdate=
can also be used to add an access date, eg
- Æthelstan 18 at Prosopography of Anglo-Saxon England. Retrieved 2016-01-17.
I think it's probably a good thing to use the template as far as possible, rather then direct links, so that if the preferred URL format ever changes again it is then very straightforward to update all the links in one simple step. Jheald (talk) 10:36, 17 January 2016 (UTC)
