[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Professional sports in Canada. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}

Proposal: re-name to "Professional Men's Team Sports in Canada"
[edit]Hello, looking at this page it occurs to me that aside from being outdated as others have stated, there are major scope issues. First, there is a complete lack of discussion of women's sports or professional female athletes, not even a passing mention. In addition, the focus is almost exclusively on team sports. For example, there is no discussion of professional golf, cycling, tennis, boxing, rodeo, snowboarding, etc. in Canada or participation by Canadian athletes.
This leads me to ask whether in light of these issues, it might not make sense to rename this page to something like "Professional Men's Team Sports in Canada", and just move the motorsport content to the more general article Sports in Canada. Then there would only be minor improvements that could be suggested, such as adding a section on curling, which is a relatively popular professional team sport that is not covered. Interested what people think, cheers. -MMM MorgenMuffelMädchen (talk) 04:05, 29 August 2023 (UTC)
