Notes

Thank you for creating this article. A couple notes. First, multiple sources (here and here indicate that PFI was the predecessor to Pro Football Weekly; the first source indicates it was simply a name change. Second, a search of Newspapers.com suggests that PFI was still being published through the 1980s and perhaps into the 1990s. Cbl62 (talk) 15:28, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Cbl62: I did see those sources saying it was a predecessor to PFW, but PFW was first published while PFI was still being published. Furthermore, I suspect it could have been made up/misremembered by Ron Wolf. I have yet to see a source linking PFW to PFI that isn't primarily a piece about Wolf.
