North American License & English Translation Status (Manga)

[edit]

Might want to mention that the manga is licensed in North America by Del Rey Books (Random House). The first two volumes Princess Resurrection 1 (released May 1st 2007), Princess Resurrection 2 (released August 28, 2007) are out. The next installment is slated for March 2008. It's already in the lead and the infobox. Doceirias 07:02, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ryuu Ryuu

[edit]

It's listed that Ryuu Ryuu is not a blood servant in the anime. During the attack on Sherwood by the Spiderbats, he was killed and resurrected by Sherwood. While the actual act occurred off-screen, Sherwood brought her finger to her lips and we could hear her give nearly the same litany as Hime to Hiro. --Rayblasdel (talk) 23:20, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Flandre/Flanders Might just a coincedence, but Flandre is the French term for Flanders or Vlaanderen as its called in both Dutch and Flemish. Would be somewhat appropriate considering both have similar functions and speech limitations, when compared to the other androids featured in this anime. This in light of Belgium being socially divided in French and Flemish parts. 62.51.168.5 (talk) 21:03, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disgust at rat vs. disgust at idea of rat servant

[edit]

Sorry to capture this info without putting it into the text. My chronic illness has been really acting up recently. I'll *try* to return and put this in the correct & concise format in the main article, but if someone else wants to, thanks for doing so.

In Characters > Main characters > Hime (姫, Hime?) / Lilianne (リリアーヌ, Ririānu?), near the end of the 2nd paragraph, the article mentions her disgust of a rat at the end of the Princes Rampage chapter (ch 3). Actually, this is one scene in a series that underlines her robotic servant Flandre's innocent desire to help Hime by finding her more servants and Hime's pride that won't allow her to have any but the most worthwhile demon or human servants who died a good death first.

p. 6, Hime: "I need more servants." p. 7, Hime: [She clarifies she's not talking about maids but the elite Blood Knights.] p. 9, Hime: "... Why are you bringing me this dead cat, Flandre? You want me to resurrect it with my blood & make it a vassal? ... Just because it's a corpse doesn't mean I want it!"

That is the set-up for Flandre producing the dead rat on p. 40 of the chapter, right after Hime complains again that she needs more servants.

Sorry this is so long. If I had the time & energy, I'd make it shorter. :) Geekdiva (talk) 21:22, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
