I arrived here looking for information on the PMRAFNS UK hospitals...and there is none. I think this article would benefit by an expansion of the 'Parafins' various roles. They ran (or mostly ran) four major service hospitals in the UK - at Ely, RAF Halton, RAF Wroughton and RAF Nocton Hall; Nurses from the service manned station medical centres at most major airfields; They manned MASH units in the field during war operations and specially selected nurses were involved in overseas emergency 'Medivac' operations from RAF Brize Norton to the PM Hospital at Wroughton for armed forces personnel and family members from overseas bases during both peacetime and wartime scenarios. I would add it myself but I have no references to back up the info, I will see if I can find any 21stCenturyGreenstuff (talk) 13:27, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
