How?

How does this warrant an article? Pikachu Bros. (talk) 18:33, 3 December 2013 (UTC)

The topic doesn't deserve fame on WikiPedia, unless Disney or LucasFilm is a big sponsor of WikiPedia. Forget about fairness, it is public relationships. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.176.120.156 (talk) 01:03, 20 March 2014 (UTC)

Bikini disambiguation?

Out of curiotsity, why "metal"? Have there been other Leia bikinis?

Peter Isotalo 17:58, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

The choice of title seems a bit arbitrary, so I moved it to just "Princess Leia's bikini". However, going by some light googling, "Leia('s) slave costume"[1] seems to be a far more common term.

They used multiple versions of the outfit to accommodate different scenes in the film, including a hard metal piece for scenes in which Fisher remained still, and a rubber outfit she and stuntwoman Tracy Eddon could wear comfortably while performing stunts. --91.145.121.187 (talk) 06:43, 11 December 2018 (UTC)

New article on original creator of the outfit

Why?

Why is this an article? I have never seen another Wikipedia article for a movie costume. This is completely useless. Why do we really need an encyclopedia article for one specific bikini? I don’t get it. 72.188.17.58 (talk) 17:23, 22 December 2021 (UTC)

Be glad it's just one specific bikini, my flummoxed friend, unlike the white dress of Marilyn Monroe and the pink dress of Marilyn Monroe. InedibleHulk (talk) 08:00, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
