Flight Simulator X

[edit]

Isn't this the airport that the demo of Flight Simulator X is based? If it is, I don't get the impression how the airport on the game...is anyway related to the images on this article AND Google Earth. Any explinations? I do understand that computers can't do everything.--Press208 02:11, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

10/28

[edit]

Isn't the airport runway 09/27? (Cjwon348 (talk) 12:53, 3 February 2009 (UTC)).[reply]

Negative Pregnant

[edit]

Regarding the short runway, the article contains the statement, "Despite the difficulties in approach, there have been no records of major incidents at the airport." This is a negative pregnant. Okay, how many "major" or "minor" accidents have there been for which no records are kept?

Runway and facilities section

[edit]

The beginning of this section needs attention, there is a lot of pointless waffling, I would say most of it needs to go. Any comments? RaseaC (talk) 23:11, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

British Airways Operations.

[edit]

I have removed all references of British Airways flights into Princess Juliana International Airport since there has been no official confirmation as to if this service will operate. Therefore it is only a Rumor. If the service is confimed in the near future I will put back the Information

Location of French airpot

[edit]

I removed "near Marigot" as describing the location of the other airport; looking at the map, as the Dutch airport is actually closer to Marigot than the French one, this is misleading. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Towopedia (talkcontribs) 16:27, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

References PJIAE.com website

[edit]

PJIAE.COM should be visited without WWW in the URL. If you add www you come on a commercial junk portal - but without hostname all is fine. Corrected all the links/references on the main page and checked if pages were indeed still available Tonkie (talk) 19:52, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Corsair

[edit]

what happened to Corsair flights to SXM? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.204.187.127 (talk) 16:09, 4 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In late 2008, Runway 09/27 was renumbered as 10/28.

[edit]

Eh? Has the island rotated or what? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.187.106.21 (talk) 21:04, 7 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This name change is due to the shift of the magnetic north 92.224.30.181 (talk) 18:53, 28 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Google Maps clearly shows that the runway actually runs slightly north of east. The true bearing is 082/262, but runway designations are based on changing magnetic bearings. NitPicker769 (talk) 07:34, 19 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Franco-Dutch Border control treaty

[edit]

There is quite a lot of (unsourced) content about this treaty at the end of the History section, but to my mind nothing that makes it clear why and how it is relevant to the airport. Am I missing something, and if so does it need adding to the main text? --Peeky44 What's on your mind? 12:30, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps you can dig into this section: Franco-Dutch treaty on Saint Martin border controls#Provisions. HkCaGu (talk) 15:26, 6 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
