El Cid Relation

[edit]

Prince Pierre of Orléans is related to Sancho VI of Navarre, who is related to Blanche de Navarre, who is related to Henry I the Fat, who is related to Joan I de Navarre. She is related to Charles IV who was the King of France and Navarre (as Charles I), he was related to Philip VI, who was related to John II, who was related to Charles V, who was related to Charles VI. Now these people fill the void Catherine of Valois, Edmund Tudor, Henry VII, Mary, Queen of Scots, James I of England, Elizabeth of Bohemia, Charles Louis, (German: Karl I. Ludwig), Elector Palatine, Elizabeth Charlotte of the Palatinate, and Henri Philippe Pierre Marie d'Orléans is related to him, so thats why I added the El Cid comment --Lucius Sempronius Turpio (talk) 08:50, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Virtually every other European prince is also related to El Cid in this fashion. If it were appropriate to mention the relation to El Cid, then it would also be appropriate to mention Pierre's relationship with thousands of other historical figures. I see your point, and agree.--Lucius Sempronius Turpio (talk) 03:45, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
