[edit]

I still think Prince Harry's page needs to be secured due to his recent criticism. SferaEbbasta87 (talk) 18:06, 9 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The page is already semi-protected, and has been since May last year. Celia Homeford (talk) 13:44, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The section should be updated with the Netflix sport documentary Polo 2A02:A450:A90E:1:E0B1:D1B8:2B3F:C31 (talk) 21:45, 13 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why is Harry named Harry under his photo but when its the cathegory 'Names' his name is Henry?? I know he might have a diffrent name, and Harry may be a diminutive from Henry but everyone is telling about him as Harry, so is Henry correct or not? 188.146.133.170 (talk) 18:13, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not Trivial

[edit]

I don't really see why any of the three examples I included were trivial. They were all high-profile public appearances with good sourcing and extensive media coverage.

In August 2018, he attended a London charity performance of the stage musical Hamilton about the Founding Fathers of the United States as they declared independence from England, and sang part of a line of the song You'll Be Back sung by the character of King George III, his sixth great grandfather.[1] In July 2019, he and Meghan attended the European premiere of the remake of The Lion King and Harry mentioned that he knew "everything by heart" from the original film.[2] It was later reported that Harry mentioned his wife's voice-over skills to Disney CEO Bob Iger at the premiere.[3] While in Germany for the Invictus Games in September 2023, Harry appeared on the German sports program Das aktuelle Sportstudio and lost in a football shoot-out game to German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.[4] He joked that Pistorius should be the new manager of the German football team, the same day that the German team had lost in a friendly and a day before manager Hansi Flick was fired from that position, and received a scarf from local team 1. How exactly is an appearance at a Lion King premiere of encyclopedic value? Members of the Royal Family attend dozens of movie premieres each year. All of them read like absolute trivia to me. In any case, we need more than two users to form consensus so we have to wait for others' input. Keivan.fTalk 21:03, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The New Yorker article following up on the clip released later highlights why this premiere got more attention in the greater context of the relationship with Meghan/exploration of outside opportunities (connecting with Bob Iger). newsjunkie (talk) 21:08, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'd be tempted to keep the penalty shootout with Boris Pistorius, only because I'm a sucker for complete trivia. But probably belongs as a footnote at Invictus Games. Martinevans123 (talk) 21:12, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I think all the examples illuminate his personality and character and also illustrate how he relates to a public audience. newsjunkie (talk) 21:17, 22 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
