Complete NONSENS! Dimitri Karadjordjevic is not son of HRH Alexander Karadjordjevic --Ninam 04:11, 20 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The above statement "Nonsens" was untrue (obviously uttered in haste) and has been apologized by Ninam, see User talk:Ninam. 217.140.193.123 11:01, 23 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

In this revision of main text, it could stay and it is correct, in spite of content of discussion page. --Ninam 01:58, 21 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

descent from ancient Serbian kings

[edit]

He has also some other ancestry from medieval Balkan kings. Through his own family Karageorgevich, he apparently has no such royal descent, but he has that through the royal houses of Europe, which his mother and paternal grandmother belonged to. This means that almost all royals of Europe have similar Serbian ancestry...

What is at least known of Dimitri's medieval Serbian lineage:

Many other parallel lineages exist too. 217.140.193.123 15:02, 15 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, this guy's ancestry is factual and verifiable. Skysmith is very welcome to check them from genealogical sources, beginning from "Europäische Stammtafeln". "Sound" is not always the thing on basis of which to decide.
What if I would say that "It sounds like Skysmith suffers from mental health problems". Although things may "sound" such, I will not make any decisions based on such sound. 217.140.193.123 09:33, 21 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

saved some text here

[edit]

For some reason, a user wanted to erase following pieces of information from the article. I am not happy with such erasure. 217.140.193.123 09:41, 21 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

"Through his mother, Prince Dimitri descends from the Italian noble family of Dukes of San Pietro di Galatina, who were heirs of George Castriota the Scanderbeg, the national hero of Albania and the Sovereign Lord of that country, in rebellion against the Turkish rule.

Through the same Castriota family, Dimitri is descendant of Serbian medieval Brankovic princes of Raska, Syrmia and Kosovo; of Stepan Lazar Hrebeljanovic, a medieval ruler of Serbia; of Stepan Uros III Decanski, a Nemanjic king of Serbia and several other Nemanjic kings; of Dragas, medieval Serbian prince and ruler of East Macedonia in Serres; of Matthaios Asanes Kantakuzenos, a co-emperor of Constantinople; as well as of Thomas Palaiologos, son and brother of the last Byzantine Emperors."

This article has been kept following this VFD debate. Sjakkalle (Check!) 09:55, 29 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Something wrong

[edit]

There are two Prince Dimitris. The text is over the one Dimitri. The part line of succession to British Throne and the links that lead to this article mean the other Dimitri. This could be the reason for all the debates mentioned above. Someone should fix this. I can do, if you let me. --Intimidator03 17:58, 1 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

some of that info is not correct

Dimitri, born 1958 has a twin brother (Michel) who is considered older than him
