Number of books donated by Prince Albert

[edit]

The text currently states that 1,000 books were donated by Prince Albert and has an endnote linking to the 1860 catalogue. The Google Books copy of that catalogue doesn't mention the number donated, but the Historic England National List for England description states that 2,000 books were donated by the Prince. I wonder what the correct number is? 129.67.180.2 (talk) 10:11, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
