Illustrations

[edit]

I think there should be an image to illustrate this often-forgotten rhyme. Angie Y. (talk) 19:34, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia isn't a songbook, and an encyclopedia doesn't add illustrations to songs or poems. Oh and if the rhyme is "often-forgotten" that raises questions about its notability. -66.93.200.101 (talk) 00:52, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Too many variations

[edit]

I'm wondering if the article lists too many variations of the lyrics? As of this comment, the article lists 17 different variation of lyrics and most (all?) of them are without any type of source. I'm wondering if many or all of the variations should be removed? Wikipedia isn't a lyrical database after all. My Pants Metal (talk) 19:37, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

1960’s USA, NY

[edit]

I am a pretty little schoolgirl As pretty as pretty can be And all the boys around the block are crazy over me …. We had a little doggy We named him Tiny Tim We put him in the bathtub To see if he could swim

He ate up all the water He drank up all the soap He tried to eat the bathtub But it wouldn’t go down his throat

In walked the doctor In walked the nurse In walked the lady with the alligator purse

Medicine(?) said the doctor Rest(?) said the nurse Nothing said the lady with the alligator purse 184.153.50.105 (talk) 18:37, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
