Proposed merge with Premium segment

[edit]

Both these pages cover the same topic and information, and should be incorporated into one another Garchy (talk) 16:08, 19 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

One is the result of the other, I would say, the pricing argument and consequential revenue candidly being the root cause on the producer side, the luxury branding the observed outward consequence for the customer. This slight distinction at least should be retained. -- Kku 08:18, 21 July 2016 (UTC)
Support merge; the slight distinction can be maintained by keeping a separate section for one or the other on whichever is the destination page. I'd move premium segment into a section on premium pricing, given that the latter is more general (in the sense that some stores will sell premium-priced-products (!) amongst their other goods, and hence might not be considered as part of the premium segment.
