let's not turn this into another "Armenians are more ancient than your mum" pissing contest please. "Racial origins" of Armenians belong discussed on Origin of the Armenians. This article should simply address the archaeology of the general area of the Armenian Highland. dab (đł) 08:26, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

- yes? are you saying this is a good thing? dab (đł) 08:40, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- No, why not? a Prehistoric Armenia page would have been good and the History of Armenia website had the context, and it is Public Domain so it is free to use here as far as I know. --Vonones 08:42, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- The text, actually taken here from the 1964 reprinting, is in the public domain since the 1958 copyright was not renewed at the appropriate time (1985â1986), and the work has therefore fallen into the public domain. [1] --Vonones 10:23, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
- I edited the first phrases, since the Georgians have the oldest known culture in the whole region, if not the very oldest of the world, dating around 1.8-2.0 million BC. Besides that Colchis did allready exist as governmental monarchy 6-8.000 BC and produced wine 5.000 BC.
