- Support Individual articles have no inherent notability of their own. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 19:05, 28 June 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose many individual PCCs have history of their own especially pre-independence and immediate post independence. Many PCCs have had events that have been consequential for the region. Spbal (talk) 03:21, 2 July 2019 (UTC)

I am sure many other PCC articles can be expanded with informative content. Spbal (talk) 08:50, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
- @Spbal: It is wrong to presume that individual state committees were acting on their own without any involvement of the All India Congress Committee or maybe just the main president at the time. So actions were seen in individual states; but not necessarily due to that particular committee. The notability of the main party can not be inherited by individual committees by default. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 06:11, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
- I am not arguing that they were always acting on their own. However many committees have their history of acting independently and when they did not get their way splitting . Which would be part of the particular units history. Including it in the main body of the article would be make the original article inordinately large. Spbal (talk) 07:01, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
- Well, currently there is nothing in any of these two liner articles that will make the two liner main article inordinately large. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 07:49, 27 September 2019 (UTC)

- Oppose User:Spbal does have a good point. It is not appropriate to decide all of them at one place like this. If anyone wants to merge something, they must start individual discussion. DBigXrayᗙ 12:52, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose State level political parties are significant in their own right, extensive academic research on state level party political dynamics in India, general practice across wikipedia is state level parties have own entries in federal systems (eg Republican Party of Florida, Ontario New Democratic Party.--Goldsztajn (talk) 17:26, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
