Agreement not to merge all articles, but with predjudice for proposals discussing particular pages. Klbrain (talk) 15:23, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Internal State-wise committee articles have no stand-alone notability. Should be merged into the main article of Pradesh Congress Committee. Following articles are proposed to be merged:

@Spbal: Please provide WP:RS for claims you made in opposition of the merger. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 09:42, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Here are a few sources for evolution of Congress in Odisha.

I am sure many other PCC articles can be expanded with informative content. Spbal (talk) 08:50, 26 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Spbal: It is wrong to presume that individual state committees were acting on their own without any involvement of the All India Congress Committee or maybe just the main president at the time. So actions were seen in individual states; but not necessarily due to that particular committee. The notability of the main party can not be inherited by individual committees by default. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 06:11, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I am not arguing that they were always acting on their own. However many committees have their history of acting independently and when they did not get their way splitting . Which would be part of the particular units history. Including it in the main body of the article would be make the original article inordinately large. Spbal (talk) 07:01, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Well, currently there is nothing in any of these two liner articles that will make the two liner main article inordinately large. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {Talk / Edits} 07:49, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
