Minor Rewording

[edit]
  • This is how it is currently written
    • "The tool is a tube (of ca. 90cm long); a pedal opens a pointed beak (also described as a type of scissors[2]) at the base, which creates the planting hole;"
  • Would this be acceptable, and do you prefer it (It seems to "flow" more to me, but at the same time i am newer to Wikipedia Editing)
    • "The tool is essentially a tube (of ca. 90cm long); a pedal opens a pointed beak (also described as a type of scissors[2]) at the base, which creates the planting hole by pushing the soil out of the way;"
  • I made the change since, prior to watching a video of it in operation, i thought it was similar to those manual Post Hole Digger tools where it is used almost like a "claw" to pick up a cylindrical section of soil, THEN the sapling is placed.
  • This seems to be placed with the "beak" closed, it is opened to make the hole (with no need to dump the soil, due to the push (rather than grab) mechanism not "picking up" any) and the "beak" no longer blocks the tube, this allows the sapling to be removed. Then the tube is pulled up and the sapling is left in place
