ABoK 1072/1073/1848 are French Bowlines ... the running end does not pass twice through the nipping loop as shown in rest of article.
Illustrations seem wrong
[edit]The photographs in the article do not seem to show ABoK #1072/1848. The drawing shows it a little better, except it is tied in the Cowboy Bowline fashion, not as Ashley has shown. 2405:9800:B520:6843:884:BFC6:4092:D508 (talk) 10:33, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
Which way is right? Pictures are different
[edit]The line drawing in the infobox shows the tail of the bowline arranged on the outside like a "cowboy" bowline. The photos show the tail arranged on the inside like a standard bowline.
