ABoK 1072/1073/1848 are French Bowlines ... the running end does not pass twice through the nipping loop as shown in rest of article.

Illustrations seem wrong

The photographs in the article do not seem to show ABoK #1072/1848. The drawing shows it a little better, except it is tied in the Cowboy Bowline fashion, not as Ashley has shown. 2405:9800:B520:6843:884:BFC6:4092:D508 (talk) 10:33, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Which way is right? Pictures are different

The line drawing in the infobox shows the tail of the bowline arranged on the outside like a "cowboy" bowline. The photos show the tail arranged on the inside like a standard bowline.
