Beginnings
[edit]The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard was established 1800, however the USS Ranger (1777) was built already before at Portsmouth. Was there some other naval shipyard before? Also, any explanation why it took 14 years until the USS Washington (1814) was built when the PNS was established in 1800? Ekem 23:24, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
