Rewriting history

[edit]

Rewriting history: the hallmark of Wikipedia.

Perhaps some of you should check the BSTJ and the writings of DMR. It was ALWAYS known as the pccm. No one was so stupid as to call it pcc. But then Wikipedia came along.

You people are too much.

Need disambiguation page

[edit]

PCC redirects here, but Pyridinium chlorochromate is also a common abbreviation. Can a disambiguation page be created for just PCC but not this article? Hillthekhore (talk) 20:17, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PCC1 vs PCC2; ANSI C

[edit]

There were two major versions (according to the dragon book), with quite different internals. It would be good to see this mentioned. The dialect for PCC1 was K&R with some updates, but the major updates with ANSI C were definitely not there (prototypes etc). I'm not sure about PCC2. Also for the continuing development it would be interesting to hear exactly what language is handled. And for all versions a list of the more important architecture ports. 198.142.19.242 (talk) 03:34, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
