Progressive rock
Poppy indeed describes her current music as progressive rock. She said in an interview with Kerrang: “I’ve never said my music is metal, but I do listen to that music. To clarify: post-genre. Or prog rock or pop. We’re turning a new page.” (https://web.archive.org/web/20200111101719/https://www.kerrang.com/the-news/poppy-ive-never-said-my-music-is-metal/). Her music is heavy metal, but she clearly said in the article that she identifies as a prog-rock artist, and her experimental aesthetic definitely meets the progressive rock requirements. --81.140.194.49 (talk) 20:17, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
Still no source for the birth date
A hidden not with the unsourced birth date says, "Please don't remove the birthday anymore. There's been a lot of disputes but the fact of the matter is that she was born on January 1, 1995. Professional biographer Neil Z. Yeung of Apple Music has even attributed her birth to this date."
If you have a reliable source for the birth date, you need to cite the source so that we can confirm it. This is called "verifiability". Unsourced birth dates -- no matter how much you beg in a hidden note -- are unsourced. That's a problem, especially in biographies of living persons. - SummerPhDv2.0 15:31, 30 June 2020 (UTC)
