Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because it isn't even notable. There is only one episode available on YouTube, which does not have enough information on it to quickly summarize the entire show. Furthermore, the article has many speculations. --118.92.17.187 (talk) 08:16, 26 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Being on YouTube is not really a good indicator of notability... there are many notable TV shows that don’t have episodes on YouTube... and many non-notable TV shows that do.
That said, I have to agree that this article (in its current state) does not properly establish why its subject is notable. What is needed is some discussion of things beyond mere existence. Do independent reliable sources talk about it? If so, what do they say? Blueboar (talk) 20:59, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes there are independent sources. I added a couple. BTW, you have also search in 3 more languages: French, Spanish and Japanese. Staszek Lem (talk) 22:20, 3 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Good... so the next step is to include some sort of statement about what makes the show unique... what makes it stand out from other children’s shows. What do the sources think about the show? Has it been nominated for awards? Do critics applaud it, or have they panned it? We need a bit more depth here. A “Reception and reviews” section (for example) would establish notability quite well. Manual of Style

[edit]

@Calebculmer54: There are two edits being consistently re-applied with no explanation or edit summary. First is the table of international broadcasts, and the other is date formatting (or rather "unformatting") in the episode table. Per the manual of style: Wikipedia is not a television guide, do not include an indiscriminate list of every network that a series appeared on in countries outside the country of production. This table provides no context, nor any reason why each of these is in any way notable. Please refer to MOS:TVINTL. Secondly, per the template documentation Template:Episode list, OriginalAirDate uses the {{Start date|YYYY|MM|DD|df=y}} template format. There are reasons why we do it this way, so leave the existing formatting in place. ButlerBlog (talk) 01:19, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
