Article seems to have been copy pasted from a about box in a group called Poonur from Facebook. It then seems to have evolved a bit over time. Here's the unedited about info retrieved today 15th of April 2021:

People from neighbouring places heads to Poonoor Sunday Market with a hope of purchasing essential things of good quality for a better price in ease. Though the market is shifted to the newly built arcades nobody will forget the colourful scene of old Sunday market all along the street sides of Poonoor town.

The population of poonoor area contains 90 % Muslims and 10% Hindus. Christians are rarely in Poonoor area. The harmonious people of Poonoor never have a story of communal evils. "Thiyya" community is the majority in Hindus and second "Nairs"and also other communities. The bulk of Muslims are of the traditional Sunnis and the rest is the followers of Mujahid (salaf/Islahi) movements (Kerala Nadvathul Mujahideen). Poonoor "Vadha prathivadham (Face to Face Debate) of 19—between traditional Sunnis and Mujahids is an important turn in the history of Kerala Muslims. Poonoor "puzha" (Punoor river) is a perennial river. It meets Korapuzha and ends in Lakshadweep Sea. It is named from the village Poonoor in Kozhikode district. Even though the length of river flowing through Poonoor is considerably less, the river carries the name.

Poonoor Puzha is one of the longest in Kozhikode district which waters majority of farming in the district. River is normally very quite and stream looks almost stationary but the inner flow is forceful.

Rainy season stains the river and some years it floods to make the transportation impossible. In 2007 lives were lost in the flooding poonoor puzha. Environmentalists and nature lovers are much concerned about the preservation of this natural blessing as lot of illegal constructions and sand mining kills this old calm life blood of Kozhikode district.

And, may have been AI translated to English at some point. Which is very likely why there were so many issues with neutrality in the article, as well as confusing information, and no citation.
