What is Polyresin?[edit]

This article needs chemical and historical information. The name "polyresin" has been used by companies in the past to refer to their own brands of polyester resin, acrylic resin thickeners, vinyl resin compounds, sodium polyacrylate, and others. Also, "Alabastrite" can refer to gypseous alabaster, aka common white alabaster or "false" alabaster. This article seems to be referring to Alabastrite as some sort of synthetic polymer material though. Citation?
