Chinese Medicine

[edit]

In Chinese Herbal Medicine, Polygonum Aviculare is known as, Bian Xu. See: http://tcm.health-info.org/Herbology.Materia.Medica/bianxu-properties.htm

However, it is a less important, less frequently used member of the Polygonaceae family. Compared to Radix Polygonati multiflori / He Shou Wu, Caulis Polygonati Multiflori / Ye Jiao Teng; Rhizoma Polygonati Sibiricum / Huang Jing, Rhizoma Polygonati Odorati / Yu Zhu, and to a lesser extent Rhizoma Polygonati Cuspidati / Hu Zhang. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.18.234.174 (talk) 21:03, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @DSFelix: I don't think this is correct. It may be native to other parts of NA other than Missouri. Invasive Spices (talk) 28 August 2022 (UTC)

Well after some extensive looking no one in the last few decades list it as native. Can you show otherwise? DSFelix (talk) 22:00, 10 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
